This is an excellent property with mostly high ground. This property would be an excellent place to build a home, cabin or bring in a camper. There is a gated entrance with a trail that leads back towards the NE corner of the property. The property is made up of small rolling hill like features and an excellent mix of tree types and ages. I saw a grouse on the trail just after I got past the gate a way’s. I saw several other areas with grouse tracks as well. The property would also be a great spot to hunt deer, bear and to trap as well. The land has public lands on three sides and is literally attached to thousands upon thousands of acre’s public lands. Which includes Superior National Forest, Finland State Forest and County Lands. Just off the land to the east a few hundred feet is Murphy Creek and Little Mud Creek. The DNR website indicates that there are Brook Trout present in both of these creek’s. There are also tons of other trout streams and lakes in the area as well.
